Hello fellow cat owners,
I would like to get your opinion on rotating cat food brands. I have noticed that after reading numerous threads, that many of you do this especially the holistic feeders.
My question to you is: If you rotate brands, how many are suitable and what are your thoughts and experiences on this. (i.e. foods that have not worked well or ones that you would recommend).
I have heard that the technique is good for preventing cats from developing a allergies. And would you want to do this strictly with wet food? Or can you do this with dry food as well?
Side Note
**Currently I am feeding my kitty Before Grain and have been rotating between flavours but not brands, but keeping the pure fish ones to once a week. However I have noticed that different brands contain different amounts and combinations of protein, vitamins, minerals and amino acids and it may be worth rotating so that she is exposed to variation in case there are some she is unable to properly absorb or the amounts are the bare minimum required.
I appreciate your input!!
