I am having some repairwork done in my small, one bedroom condo, two day job in a few weeks. Patching, painting, sanding; cleaning carpets. The last time I had repairmen come in, over a four or five day period, Ritz developed a UTI. And when I went on a four-day vacation, she developed a UTI. She's been diagnosed with stress-induced FLUTD.
Do you have any suggestions how to make this easier for Ritz. I thought of placing her into a cat carrier and putting her in a dark, warm basement, but she'd be all alone and would have to stay in the carrier. I also thought of keeping her in the (only) bathroom.
I have lots of Feliway and put rescue remedy in her food every day. Sedatives don't work on her.
Do you have any other suggestions, advice?
Thanks.
