My SWEETIE, Leo, was killed by a car on September 30th. I was his Mom for 12 years and am still heartbroken to not have him anymore. He was in a dream I had last week and I got to hold him close to me again. I decided to share these special memories with other cat lovers since I know that there are many characteristics that our special soulmates share. I have a photo I can post but I'm unsure how. He's beautiful and I'd love to share that with you as well. Thanks!
My most special memories are:
Your screams from the box that day we came and got you.
Your beautiful lion paws.
Patting my face with your paws.
Licking my eyelids at 4 a.m.
Staying so close to me when I needed you the most.
Playing peek-a-boo with me at the door or when Iâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]d hide and you couldnâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]t see me.
Your talk...
You growling at whoever was outside of my apartment, my brave little watch kitty.
You growling at Max all night long when I first brought him home.
The way you watched us pack and stayed close to the suitcase when we were getting ready to go to Vegas.
Finding you on my bed when I got home.
Having to be on Linaâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]s lap when she didnâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]t want you on it. You “talked†her into it.
Having the cone on your head and getting out. Getting you back that night.
Laying on top of my belly when I was pregnant.
Many people working at the vets made comments on how beautiful and sweet you were.
The way you lay all stretched out.
The way you rubbed your head against the brush.
Having you at our sliding glass door at dinner time.
Having Angela come and visit you in our bathroom when you hurt your leg.
Raising your rear when Angela pet you.
Finding you at the neighborâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]s and bringing you home to be with us again.
Hugging you that September morning, waking Angela and bringing you in to visit with us. I did not know it would be the last time we'd share.
