A nail and a draught of beer are out because they have no tail.
OR If a person had a few too many beer they may come up with some tall "tales".

Just being silly

I'm not used to thinking in Tons and wonder if it's a terminology thing.

Ohhh, you go Harley! Woot. Man, the people on this thread are really good at riddles, lol.

My posterior is adorned with feathers. I have a rather long neck and quite a pointy nose. I am able to fly, yet I have no wings. What am I?

It was an arrow. Running out the door for work. Blech phooey. Will look for more riddles when I get home tonight (or if time allows, at work when no one is looking).

A man was to be sentenced, and the judge told him, "You may make a statement. If it is true, I'll sentence you to four years in prison. If it is false, I'll sentence you to six years in prison." After the man made his statement, the judge decided to let him go free. What did the man say?

He said, "You'll sentence me to six years in prison." If it was true, then the judge would have to make it false by sentencing him to four years. If it was false, then he would have to give him six years, which would make it true. Rather than contradict his own word, the judge set the man free.
