A man went to a party. The man drank some punch from the punch bowl and joined the party, but ended up leaving early. The next day he discovered that everyone else who drank punch at the party had died. Why didn't he?
Yes, someone added something to the punch to make it deadly.Originally Posted by mrsd

If something was added, was it a solid?
Was it a liquid?
Were they slugs and salt was added? So they all melted?Or was salt added? (Phrasing it as a yes or no!)
Hey now! It was just explained they don't melt, they dehydrate quickly to death!Originally Posted by Ali012281
Okay firstly remind me to never eat while I'm surfing the forums... eating crackers and reading about how a slug melts is kinda gross.
Yes, there were lots of people.Originally Posted by Ali012281

Anyway.
Were there a lot of people at the party?
Was the man immune to what was added to the punch?
Does this have anything to do with the religious cult that drank punch to commit suicide?
Did the man vomit out the poison?

Ta da! Yes, that is the answer! The poison was in the ice cubes, which melted AFTER the man left the party. I'm going on vacation tomorrow for my wedding anniversary (my husband is totally in the dark about where we're going!) and won't be back 'till late Monday. So I won't post another riddle until I get back. pinkdaisy/ari could post one during that time, maybe! But I don't want to start one if I won't be around to answer questions for three days!Originally Posted by Ali012281

Were the ice cubes poison that were slowly released through the night and the man left before they melted?
