I posted about how great it was to go see the A's ceremony for Ricky Henderson when they retired his number after he was inducted into the baseball Hall of Fame.
This past Thurs., it was root beer float day at the A's. Starting at 10:30 you could have floats made by some players and other celebs. Ricky Henderson was going to be there, too.
Ben and I got to the stadium at 9 am to wait in line. Seriously. Well, we got it! We got the official autographed picture plus we got to meet him and have our picture taken with him:

Well, you can tell we are fans. The jerseys that Ben and I are wearing are the free ones with Ricky's number/name on it that we got when we went to the game when the A's retired his number.
Oh, and I LOVE ice cream. See my next post.
