This morning when I got to the rescue centre, I ended up having to rush 3 cats up for euthanisia. Though only two were euthanized. The vet didn't know what was wrong with the 3rd, and wanted to try and save her.
Sissi, a 10 year old seal point siamese was in renal failure and her time was up.. she didnt' even move anymore. Rest in Peace Baby, may you meet your owner now on the rainbow bridge and finally cross into paradise together
Kinzi, about a 5 year old grey tabby... she had been at the rescue for a long time. She ended up having to get her teeth pulled due to some sort of illness, but she kept on living. But the past few months she because very sick with the upper respitory. After 4 nuflor shots, it was time to say goodbye. She was gasping for air and was severely dehydrated.. she had some sort of infection raging through her body. Rest in Peace sugar, I'll see you someday
Ginger, the 3rd cat that he wanted to try save, was going into mini sorta convulsions. Almost like she was shivering, but she wasn't. she had a subnormal temperature, so we had to keep her warm. Along with giving her 100ccs of warm fluids subcutaneously 3 times a day.
But a few hours after we brought her back to the centre, I ended up having to rush her back, and the vet reccomended euthanisia.
This sweet kitty would jump from the floor to your shoulders, and nibbled on your ear as you washed dishes or wiped the cat gyms off. She was an amazing little kitty, very deserving of a home. But she never got one.
Born as a stray, she never saw the inside of a home. just what we try and create for them at the centre, where they run free, with couches and beds, and tvs.
Rest in Peace angel baby... wait for me and I will come for you, and we will all cross together. I love you babygirl, don't ever forget that
