Regarding Thread Titles..

Another vote for the descriptive title. I prefer to have some idea of the subject matter before I open the thread. Even mousing over the title may not provide an accurate feel for the contents.

If I don't get some idea from the subject line plus the hover pop-up of the first line, I probably will not open it. I now have high-speed processing but with dialup, there's just not enough time to keep opening all of them. Could be something you might want to read once you get into it but a clue would help.

I prefer thread titles that say, "Free Pizza, Tacos and Chinese Food for Wyan!" No matter how busy I am, I always make the time to read a thread with that title, so I guess I prefer descriptive titles.

I prefer the more descriptive titles too, but it really doesn't matter, I usually try and read all of the thread, I don't always reply to all the threads though.
