If anyone is interested in following along on my reducing diet plan, here is the menu. It's based on a diabetic diet, where you count food groups instead of calories.  Each portion of a particular food group has approximately the same amount of calories and fat grams, so you just count food groups.

The sample plan is based on 1200 calories.  To add more just add the specified additional food groups in the far right column.

Once you get memorize how many food groups to have for each meal, and what a portion size is, you will never have to count a calorie or fat gram again.

And the nice thing is that it's actually real food. You don't have to go and buy anything extra.

Sounds like a sensible plan; I like the emphasis on fiber! I personally love counting calories as I am a numbers person but yes, it is a lot of work and can get so tedious so I understand why most would rather not. I hope this plan helps you!
