When I heard about the tornadoes on the news this morning I texted my husband's cousin who recently moved to KY. Luckily they were not in the area that was affected but nonetheless others were not so lucky. 😢 Now I have to call one of our neighbors who also has family there.

Crazy weather. My area got from 12 to 21 inches of snow on Friday and we are supposed to be getting thunderstorms and 40 degree temps mid week!
Isn't there an old saying that thunder after snow means more snow on the way?

And that's true about southern homes not having basements. Including my own...:frown:

I haven't checked for an update about the tornadoes yet today. I almost don't want to see. So awful.

I just saw an interview with a 70 year old man who survived the tornado. Now he's searching for his two cats, unsuccessfully so far. The interviewer was practically in tears talking with him.
