Reasonable vet fees?

My old vet here (Pittsburgh) was $40. We now pay $50 at the new vet, but the new vet specializes in cats. I figured it was worth it for the much better care and information I received.

Our vet was even more than that! $80 is what it ended up being because they dewormed him, gave him flea stuff. Our city is pretty big so that's the going rate around her. It's high, and I'm ready to move out of such a big expensive place!
