Wow, there's a herd of Cape Buffalo just hanging out there now. (Of all the animals in Africa, those are the ones that scare me the most. Especially the lone bulls. They call them Black Death or Black Nightmares because they are really that deadly.)

Because my father had always dreamed of going to Africa, there were always a lot of books around about African wildlife - Robert Ruark, Ernest Hemmingway, Peter Hathaway-Capstick (he was a safari guide, or bwana (white hunter) with intimate knowledge of so much African wildlife).
