We've always had some hair issues because our cats *love* eating my long hair. I try to clean it up when it sheds, but they usually get some anyway. So, lately we've been trying a number of different things to control hairballs/hair in feces, including cat grass. They are super into it! But, they tend to pull each blade out one at a time. This results in them pulling out not just the blade, but the root and the bulb/seed too.
So far, I've been pulling the root off and giving them just the blade. But do I have to? Can they eat the whole thing or will the seed hurt them/cause a blockage?
