Im a 6'2,90kg, tattoo'd like crazy emotionless male but reading this made me tear up like a baby. Im so sorry for your loss. It's really hard to make the decision that you had to but you did it out of love.
Such a beautiful creature doesn't deserve to live in pain and you are true inspiration for being able to look past the desire to keep him going and to be able to do what was best for him.
I hope you are doing ok. It must be terribly hard but  you will always have the memory of Ransom with you which will in turn keep him alive forever.  
I know im a complete stranger but my thoughts are with you.

I'm so, so sorry
.  It's true that with time you won't feel so sad, but will start to think of him with fond memories of all the wonderful times you shared.  For the moment, though, take solice with his sisters and all heal together.
