This just struck me as so funny that I wanted to share........
A little while ago, I decided to take the boys, Thomas and Cooper outside in the backyard for a few minutes since the weather is so nice today. They've never been outside, so I had my daughter, Nikki, (who's 11) go out with me so we could both watch the kittens in case they freaked and decided to run.
So I'm there taking pictures (as usual) and Thomas was doing fine....a little hesitant....but not really scared. Cooper, on the other hand, totally reverted back to the "cry baby" that he used to be.....meowing and crying and walking really low to the ground. I could hardly get any pictures of him because he kept going under my legs and trying to get me to pick him up. So Nikki picked him up and said, "Mom he's really scared." I said, "Well just give him a few minutes...he'll be fine."
She said, "No you don't understand.....he's so scared that he feels like a phone!"
It took me a minute to understand what she meant......and then I realized that she meant because he was trembling....that he felt like a cell phone on vibration.
That isn't something I ever would have said when I was a kid.
