I can be. For example, if I knock over a salt shaker, sometimes I'll throw a bit over my shoulder to counteract the bad luck. I do it at the sink so I don't get salt on the floor.

Only on Friday the 13th. I have nothing but bad luck on that day. I'm scared of that day. Otherwise I don't mind if a beautiful black cat crosses in front of me, I rather like it, I don't go under ladders though, just for safetys sake, nothing more.
