Well DH and I met on the net. And he wanted to propose in person. My requirement was he had to ask me on his knees
Because we only saw each other every few months in person, I knew it had to be one of those times. We were getting ready to go to dinner and I was drying my hair then getting dressed. We were having a fun "word game" of using the alphabet to pick out romantic words; like "A" - adorable, "B" beautiful, etc.
He got to R - read...I gave him a weird look and ask "what in the heck does "read" have to to with being romantic. He laughed and kept going S - screensaver...again I gave him the weird look. He finally got frustrated and told me "read - screensaver"...........so I told him " I can't - don't have my glasses on". After putting my glasses on and going to the computer, he had changed the screensaver (when I was in the shower) to the proposal! I had to read it twice.
Of course the answer was Y E S.
