Well where should I start....
We have had an asparagus bed for a long time plus lots of wild asparagus too.
I grow heirloom tomatoes (4-5 kinds ) for me and Roma's for a client.
Green, red, sweet peppers, red and white onions, sometimes shallots and leeks.
broom corn, yellow corn for freezing and a couple kinds of bi-color corn.
2-3 types of potatoes, green beans, peas, radish, different lettuce. Also broccoli, a couple kinds of carrots. Once in a while I might grow cucumbers and bush zucchini. Dad grows the squash and the strawberries. Plus the cherry, apple, raspberries, pear and plum trees.
ok, I have grown a garden once....I did ok with green beans (the only thing I've ever been able to grow at all!), but my cucumbers came out like oranges....the looked like round balls....
and my tomatoes ended up green, and got eaten by bugs....I did buy once a pepper plant and plant that into the ground....it did ok for 1 summer.
My fave veggies to eat: corn on the cob
, Jersey tomatoes
so good you salt the heck out of them & eat them like an apple!, brocoli (I eat this the most!), and green beans....
