well it's fall and time for the annual starvation march from the local farmers barns to my house. I have tnr for several years now but recently have been getting large raccoons in many of my traps. Those of you who have this issue know that raccoons destroy the treadle plate in a trap. I have been able to get by with cheaper Farm & Home traps till this became an issue.
So does anybody have a recommendation for a good trap with well made treadle that can't be easily bent or crewed up?
Please be specific I.e. Make, model (size) and where purchased
The last exodus in 2016 I trapped, neuter and released or adopted out 15 from our neighbors abandoned house on his property... stemmed the flow for a while.
