I bathed both my cats but now they won't stop fighting or hissing at each other I locked one up in my bathroom over night thinking it would work no . How long will this behaviour last these two are two peas in a pod before I gave them a bath . I hate locking one in the bathroom and hearing the meow all night .

Cats recognise each other by scent not by sight like us humans. By bathing them you have taken away their scent and they now do not recognise each other.

If you can get some vanilla extract and rub a bit on each cat. This somehow seems to work in most cases like this.

If it doesn't the only other thing to do is go back to basics with cat introductions
