Question on the gifts section

Is it possible to have a smart drop down menu where you put in the recipient's name? I have found that in some cases, I know who I want to give a gift to, but can't recall exactly how their name is spelled, so I have to open a new forum in a new browser window, look them up, etc., because typing in the first few letters brings up nothing.

A drop down like with the PMs would be MOST awesome - is it possible to add in?

I've had the same problem when I forget someone has an underscore or something like that in their name, but right now it's not possible to add a drop down list to that box. This is something the developers will have to implement. We could suggest it to them. The pm username box helps detect the right name as you type it and gives you a list. I hope the the gifting feature does that eventually too.

Interesting idea and I like it a lot. I'll ask Danny to see if this is easy to implement. It's a coding change which probably requires the form to communicate with the database as you type in, so definitely not something I could do myself
