First let me explain my situation/dilemma:
I have three cats: Lilly Cali and Mia. Lilly and Cali were rescued 4 years ago and are sisters. They were orphaned and a friend of mine and I nursed the whole litter - me being unable to let Lilly and Cali go to anyone but me. Well, October of last year I rescued a new kitten: Mia. I got tons of good advice from this forum on how to correctly introduce Mia to Lilly and Cali. I followed all rules and eventually was able to release Mia from my bedroom.
WELLLLL - that didn't last long. Lilly absolutely refuses to accept Mia. For a while, I just decided I'd let them fight it out but I could no longer stand it. Mia was constantly being terrorized by Lilly.
So now, Mia is back in the bedroom and I alternate with the other two cats daily. It's a big pain but I just want to do my best to make all my animals as content and happy as I can.
I realize this can't go on forever - it's been too long already!! That is why I started a search on products which could help me try the transition yet again. I have heard of Feliway but don't know anyone personally that's tried it. Does it work? Or is it just a waste of money?
Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I'm just at my wit's end - the health and happiness of my pets is very important to me.
