You're not alone. No turkey leftovers for me either. Our oldest is vegan, she's making stuffed kabocha squash and mustard braised brussel sprouts. We're having four-berry pie for dessert. I'm cooking separately for DH.
Wow! That sounds delicious. I was vegan for 12 years but I had to give it up. It was just too hard for me and I really missed pizza.

 I shop for a month at a time, and right now there are things stacked on top of the things that are stacked on top of the things...from the very back to the front!

 OH, that's right! It's YAM SLAUGHTERING SEASON again! Threw me for a second when you said you stopped a the butcher's for sweet potatoes...
I forgot to add, The Butcher is kind of a corner, small store.. a little bit of everything.
Yup, Yam Slaughtering Season... and it was so good!!

How does she make the mustard braised brussels sprouts? Sounds like something I'd like.
She's making them right now and copied the recipe from her cookbook for me. Hope you can read it otherwise I'll have to ask her to write it down.

OOPS, for some reason it won't paste right side up. If it's illegible just let me know.

I didn't have turkey. But I dream of turkey sandwiches with lettuce, mayo and cranberry sauce. I have a small breast in the freezer I am going to cook for us. So it will happen later this month.

I may not eat for another two days! I do have two sandwiches' worth of turkey in the fridge, with the rest of an eight pound breast sliced, wrapped and tucked in the freezer!
