My big Poppycat's jawline and profile reminds me a lot of a panther.

What big cat does your house cat remind you the most of?

Patches reminds me of a panther. I have called him my little house panther on more than one occasion.

I'm afraid they don't remind me of big cats at all... Nilah reminds me of a little mouse, and Sundar is definitely an otter with ears.

Lilith doesn't really look like one but she thinks she's a lioness despite being just shy of 5 pounds. Not sure about Sophie. Are any big cats black, fluffy and quite goofy?

Mine is more by actions and poses but Treasure moves like a mountain lion and Sopdet lounges as well as runs like a black panther. With Shaman it was hard to tell but she ran away from Treasure like a bunny rabbit scurrying off.

Willow doesn't really remind me of any big cat. Neither does Pants or Mona. If anything I'd say, like neely said, Pants sort of reminds me of a polar bear

I'm with others. My cats don't really remind me of any big cat. Flora maybe a lynx, but the other two...

With my last cat, Atari, you could really see how cats share over 95% of their DNA make-up with tigers! The way he used to stalk and hunt when he was outside, he looked just like a tiger.

Beautiful Willow doesn’t have an ounce of anything wild in her. A rabbit maybe but not a big cat. Come to think about it she does have rabbit like fur. So maybe?

Mooch was sleeping in her chair last night and I did see a bit of a lion face on her. With no mane but her cheeks were a bit pushed out I guess.

I was thinking about the other cats in the family. My mother’s cat Olivia is the result of a Maine Coon breeder having one of their cats get out. She has the most wild look of any of our cats. I think she resembles a Lynx. She’s mostly gray too; a very diluted calico or something. Her orange bits are not very prominent. She has massive polydactyl paws though.
