I had a friend visit me this past weekend and we went to Laughlin.
He put $20 in a slot and turned it into $30, then he re-invested just the $10 winnings in another slot and turned that into $73.
That paid for our dinner at Harrah's that night.
The next morning, he put $5 in a slot and turned that into $20, which paid for our champagne brunch.
It was totally awesome.
I don't do slots because they just confuse me
No, i disagree with gambling. I refuse to go to casinos, etc or support something like that because i disagree with it on a moral level and also don't want to loose any hard earned money.
I have to admit, I like gambling entirely too much. We LOVE the video gambling games. I don't know how many states they are in now (MD outlawed them a few years ago) but they are in almost every WV bar. It was one thing when I was younger and living rent free, but now that we have a mortgage payment and many other bills, we limit it to when we have "extra" money. We did win $2500 one night but that is rare.
Funny thing is, I went to Vegas for a business trip, and was bored silly on the slot machines. I play Keno every now and then (and won $800....once). The only ones I like are the videos one.
