Give me an oddball cat word or phrase. It can be a real word or phrase, or a made-up one, or one that really doesn't have to do with cats but ought to! For instance, you have heard me use the word "incapussitated," which is when you really need to get up and go do something, but you can't, because your beloved furball is curled up on your lap, snoozing away.

Here's mine...I know that the term for a litter of kittens is a "kindle." I really want to change that. I want to change it to a "caboodle." I just love the thought of this conversation:

FRIEND: Wanna go shopping with me this afternoon?
ME: I'd love to, but the babies have a vet appointment.
FRIEND: Are you taking ALL of them?
ME: Yep, the whole kitten caboodle!

The first phrase that came to mind was, "Cat got your tongue?" Not sure where that expression came from but curious to look it up now.

How about cat naps? I love those.

Tennessee Ernie Ford used to say, "As nervous as a long-tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs." Having rocked on a cat's tail before, I know what that means.

And caternatural. And cat-astrophe. Raining cats and dogs.

"I'm Feline Good!"

"I've got my thinking cat on"

"Purr-amid"

"Cat-astrophe!"

And...

Popular one going around thanks to kittens being seen bundled in a blankie - Purrito! Which I admit, is pretty cute.
