Yes, always, now..
I had one bout of basal cell cancer on my face. That was enough. My dad had tons of basal cell on his face and a melanoma.
I used to worship the sun, when I was younger. Spent summers down the beach.

I use Cerave Daily moisturizer with sunscreen on my face.. When out in the sun, I put 50 or higher Cerave face lotion on.. and 50 of another on my body.

I am very fair skinned. I always burn.. so getting a ton was a lot of work. Now, I am the palest one around.

Heck yes! Don't underestimate the power of sunlight through windows or cloudy days either. When I was a Beauty Advisor/Specialist we received a lot of training from some wonderful dermatologists. We were required to take 4-5 classes a year.

Don't want to premature age, have dark spots/hyperpigmentation/uneven skin tone nor get skin cancer  I've known people who have had the last latter and it was definitely a frightening experience to say the least.

As for brands, I use either Vichy or La Roche Posay.

As the saying goes "A day late and a dollar short"
Some of my meds cause major sun sensitivity. I'm usually only out in the sun when Gypsy and I go meandering, I wear a hat and use Neutrogena Sensitive Skin mineral sunscreen 60+.

I have a type of allergy to the sun called polymorphic light disorder that is accompanied by severe flu-like symptoms, so I avoid going out in the sun, especially during peak hours. When I do go out, wear Neutrogena Ultra Sheer 70. I am considering La Roche-Posay Anthelios Melt-in Milk Body & Face Sunscreen Lotion SPF 100.

My grandmother drilled the story into us of getting such a severe sunburn swimming on a cloudy day when she was in the military that the girls in her barrack covered her with the burn cream they used on the men coming in from the Pacific with burn wounds. She stayed out of the sun as much as possible after that.

Shes probably the palest Italian I've ever seen. And proud of it!
