Easy one this week! Although choosing may be harder than it appears!

Who is your favorite fictional cat?

I'm actually torn on this, but it is ONE of the cats from the Joe Grey series, hands down! I flip-flop between Joe and Dulcie and Kit, and some of the more minor players have really tugged at my heart as well.

Way back in the early 1990's, I read the prequel to this series. It is a fantasy novel, and gives the background, explaining how Joe and his kith and kin came to be. I bought another copy last year, and happily added it to the series, proudly leading the lineup! If you love Joe Grey, by all means get "The Catwold Portal," by Shirley Rousseau Murphy.

Well, it's an alien cat that I like the best. It is a six-legged, empathic treecat named Nimitz, from the Honor Harrington series by David Weber. Sorry, Diamond, Seal and Leonid, but I want to be chosen by a treecat! When they find their soulmate, they scream with joy, run towards that person and jump in their arms.
