Jewelry, hummmmm - well, since I've retired I've only had few occasions where I wanted to wear it.
Now that I'm a meow mommy to 8, one tested positive for FeLV, and cleaning out litter pans several times a day, so - I'm washing my hands all the time.
Having to take the time to dry around my rings, or a watch, or bracelets is just too much effort.
I usually only wear a wedding band, and every-day earrings.
Whenever I see an older lady with fingers full of rings, or wrists covered by bracelets, or necks covered in bangles, and expensive-looking earrings, I now know why - she doesn't have any place to wear her jewelry, and she doesn't want it just sitting in a jewelry box, so she piles it on when she goes out for the day. ugh.
Well, I probably have that wrong, but, oh well.
