Hello! Last Tuesday of September already, wowza!
Hope everyone is well!
Have your kitties done any accomplishments that you are proud of them for?
Recent or eons ago, big or small, doesn't matter
One example of mine just happened a couple days ago - Now, as some of you know already (and for those who don't) My Morgana is deaf, and she was never much of a vocal noise maker. At most, she makes little "roorooroo" sounds, and when she knows food is coming, only then she makes a raspy soft meow, like someone with a bad sore throat or who lost their voice.
But that evening a couple of days ago, while waiting for her dinner, she made her first real meow! a loud one! after five years! It was like "Roo...roo...err..err...mer... mer....MEOW!" with a lot of preparation before it. I was so darn happy
her lack of vocals never bothered me before, I was happy with who she was, but still couldn't help but be all giddy and thrilled with her new found progress or skill.
She continues to meow, and more often with less and less preparation ahead of time.
I know to the outside cat world people would barely understand why I was excited over something deemed so tiny and trivial, thankfully there is this wonderful community who could comprehend it all!
