What is your favourite word in a foreign language?






Krakenwagon - German for ambulance
Antibabypillen - German for contraceptive pill
Pupu - Finnish for Bunny
Bijou and Bisou - French for jewelry and kiss (As you might notice, one of my kitties is actually named Bijou!)
Fufu - Dough-like food from West Africa
Babushka - Polish or Russian for elderly lady or grandmother
Tokidoki - Japanese for sometimes

I could go on and on lol

In the languages I speak:

ronronner - "purr" in French
사랑 (sarang) - "love" in Korean, also a very popular girl's name in South Korea
oíche - "night" in Irish Gaelic
mooi - "beautiful" in Dutch
corazón - "heart" in Spanish

gato- cat in spanish
We had a cat named Gato when I was growing up :) He lived to be 22!
I always like Super Mario anything, and I didn't realize until just a few years ago that Yoshi means "good" in Japanese.

Somewhere along the way, we learned how to say "your zipper is down" in another language but now I can't remember what language.
