Having my teeth cleaned. I am terrified of dentist. However, though I find the teeth cleaning part to be so relaxing I could fall asleep, it seems a bit painful.

The only thing painful about the dentist to me is the prices. If it was cheaper, I would be there all the time.

Yes, dentists are very expensive. I wish they were more reasonable priced. Also, not all insurances fully cover major dental treatment, so you still could get a whopper of a bill if you have serious dental work done. My friend had a ton of dental work done and when it was all finished, he had to pay $7000 out of pocket.
Well, I hope all is okay with you. Just shut out the toxic people as best you can or limit your time with them and focus on what you need to do. I have to deal with some toxic family members as well. It is not easy, but you got to protect yourself.
