What is the one thing in your morning/bedtime routine you can not give up?







Morning: Coffee!
Night: Reading a book in bed

Doing one of three things I do in bed before I fall asleep. I either do crossword puzzles, read fanfiction, or read an actual book.

Exactly! But I must add “clean litter boxes” to both morning and night.

In the morning, I get all of the cats out of our bedroom so they leave my husband alone. As I shut the door, I always tell him I love him even though he is 100% asleep.

Morning routine: Coffee
Evening routing: filling up the reservoir on the Keurig and making sure the water pitcher (filtering water) is full

Night: Melatonin and other supplements to help me sleep.

Using a fluffy blanket to make a little nest for Lilith. I build one side up higher than the rest and she kneads that side until she settles down.

Coffee in the morning. I get grumpy when I can't have one.

At night, word puzzle too before sleeping (after I watched an asian drama on netflix).

Probably early morning cuddles with Luci. I usually wake up around 4-5 to go pee, or she wakes me because she wants to go outside. But we usually cuddle a little before getting up. She barely had the patience to do so during the day, so I don't wanna give it up

Morning coffee and night time you tube. Normally weird or scary stories.

Morning: Quiet time giving myself time to wake up in my bedroom before facing my kids. It’s a 20 minute difference between grumpy mom and kind and loving mom. They know it and try to respect it unless they really need me.

Evening: Tucking everyone in (including DH) and then reading with Mooch in my lap or next to me if it’s hot.

I have learned that taking these times to bookend my days really makes a huge difference in my stress and peace levels.
