Only when I need to. usually just to get prescriptions refilled. The nurse gave me heck last time I took my 6 year old in. They would like to see her more often, so they can keep better growth and weight charts. She is healthy. 80 percentile for weight and height. she has remained on the same graph line since we adopted her when she was 2. I don't see the need to waste doctor time just to weigh and measure her.

Here... or There... Hmmm
I go once a year for annual and to get scripts re-filled, had to go to a specialist a few times year before last and they never did figure anything out and now I have to go back cuz they suck! Ok, maybe it's me not them, but...
that it's nothing and they figure it out.

Other than any of that, I go to medi-center when I get sick cuz it takes over a month to get into my regular DR.

These days I try to keep it to a minimum. I see my rheumatologist ever six months. Sooner if I have a problem. And do lab tests every four months.

The regular doctor did send reminders but I never called.

Which kind of doctor?

Family doctor - a couple times a year
GYN - once a year
Ophthalmologist - once a year
OcculoPlastic surgeon - hopefully only once this year (for my final post-op check)
Dentist - WAY too often...I think he installed a revolving door just for me!
Oral surgeon - see above
Neurosurgeon - once or twice a year
Podiatrist - as necessary, maybe every other year

That's way more than enough, isn't it? Aren'tcha glad you asked?

Quite a lot. I have a few chronic health issues that require me to be seen a few times a year, plus b/c of those issues I tend to get sick more often than most people. I just saw a new specialist yesterday, actually, and get to luckily (said with the upmost sarcasm) add another thing to my list of ailments. *sigh*
