What are some movies that you were surprised you ended up enjoying?

For me, I would say Long Shot was one of the more recent movies that I was surprised I enjoyed as much as I did. Others would be A Muppet Christmas Carol, Moonrise Kingdom, and Paddington.

'Nope'. I was surprised I liked it as much as I did since I don't normally like those kind of movies. But it was well written and an original concept. Not much horror for a 'classified as horror' movie. Only one scene and I wouldn't have considered that horror.

Late last year my husband was watching the movie, Nobody, and I walked in the room. I wasn't planning to stay and watch but I recognized the songs playing, (some of my favorites), which were amazing and I quickly became drawn into the plot.

Fantastic Mr Fox. Based on the trailer and overall esthetic I honestly didn't think I would like it. Tried it one night when it was on the tely, and gotta say it was pretty good!
