I always thought I was 5 feet, seven inches tall, but my doctors insist in the last 5 or so years that I am 5feet, 6inches. I am in my 50's and I guess I have "lost" an inch due to spinal compression!
I have always been taken in and amazed by the ads for the inversion tables that allow you to "decompress" your spine. I just think it would feel great to hang upside down, but I cannot afford one, just like to dream!
Funny story---my maternal grandmother has 10 grandchildren, 5 girls and 5 boys. I'm the tallest girl . The shortest boy is 6' 3". Doh! Why couldn't that tallness have gotten spread around a little?
