Showers, but I do love a nice bath if I'm not feeling well. The only thing I hate about having a bath is that I have to crank my neck at a weird angle if I want to lie down in our tub. All tubs should have a sloped part to rest your head.
I like showers in the warm weather but love my baths in winter. A glass of wine, a good book and plenty of bubbles. And of course the mandatory cat balancing on the brim. Bliss for me
I'm definitely a shower person. I don't like sitting in soapy, dirty water. Also, like the others, it's too hard to get up and down with my rebuilt (not replaced) knees. Plus I'm a wide body and might get stuck. The fire department would have to bring in a crane.
I have a bath chair and a shower wand. It's easy to wash my hair with it. My other half now uses the chair, too. It makes showering really comfortable.
I love long, boiling hot showers. A hot, powerful jet is bliss for me. If the water stops boiling, it's getting cold. I'll stay in the spray until the water heater gives up.
showers. I am with Mother Dragon
. I hate baths. Hate being cold because my tub is not long enough to actually lay down and my waterheater is only 40 gallons-only enough to fill tub halfway with water before it gets cold. And although I love swimming in lakes. rivers. oceans. I can't stand baths..go figure. I have a wand shower and it helps to get soap out of my hair and clean the walls with-since we have iron rich water-it stains red. So I need the shower wand to do the job. I don't have a chair yet and Jon said no way in H e double hockey stick but if he needs one I will get one.
Showers. I would love to take a nice hot soak in a tub, but I don't have the time.
Plus, the last time I took a bath, I was lying there relaxing and saw a cat hair floating. It turned me off for baths and I've not had one since. I try to keep cat hair down to minimum; I swear I do. But I'm outnumbered. The whole thing skeeved me out.
