Yes, we've been having hot weather, but lately we've been having cooler spells and rain every few days. The grass had gone dormant for a while. I wanted to spray the whole lawn for weeds, but the grass is so stressed, I'm putting that off until fall. On the cooler days, I go out at 3 or 4 o'clock when the part of the yard I'm working on is in the shade. Low 80s is not bad if the sun is not shining on you. I've almost completed the weeding and Roundup spraying and will soon be able to do some shearing. If I can get that done and mulch spread, I will feel much better.

You can't explain the sense of well being when everything in the yard looks good, when the weeding is done, the water is going and the mulch is down.Then we get to repeat it all in a week or two!
