This afternoon I was reading a book when my phone alerted me to a tornado warning. I opened up Weather.gov to see a polygon directly over my area.
The building I live in used to be a cotton mill. Built in 1844, it was operational until 1996... when a tornado ripped the roof off. And I live on the top floor.
Needless to say, it was unnerving. Luckily the warning passed without incident and the only damage from the storm was a downed tree across the road.
Have you had any dramatic or otherwise really stressful situations recently? How did things turn out?
