I have so many cats so it's hard to answer this. I have 6 indoor cats that live with me, a colony that I take care of and a bunch of cats at my shelter. Every little thing they do makes my heart flutter.
What I secretly adore is when a cat that is not socialized decides to yawn in mid hiss. They have fought their instinct to be fearful and have started to speak but deciding in mid-sentence to change gears completely. This first step is how I know a cat is on the edge of turning from unsocialized to feral.
In human terms it'd be:
CatX: "What are you doing here you threatening disgusto- go away or I'm going to whip your...and you WILL FEAR ME MEEK HUMAN but hey oh it's you <yawning> do you have any food? I like that tiki stuff with the whole quail egg. That stinky stuff from the tin do you have any of that. You might be my best friend if you brought the good stuff!"
Me: "uh yeah sure whatevever you want master. I'm your Renfield. I'll fetch your tin of quail egg master"
