I'm not making the meal this year (I'm in charge of dessert) , but I far as I know we will be having...

Turkey/gravy
Stuffing
Ham
Mashed or possibly scalloped potatoes
Probably 2 side veggies - not sure what, but Mom usually makes 2
Coleslaw
Rolls or biscuits
Monkey bread - me
Cheese cake - me

We will probably also have...because we tend to always have these for every family get together...

Deviled eggs
Bacon wrapped water chestnuts
Veggies and dip
Cracker/cheese/pickle tray

Wow, Easter dinner sounds like Thanksgiving! I thought Easter was mostly chocolate candy and marshmallow peeps? They don't celebrate here, so it's just a regular dinner. If I ever leave here, I might celebrate.

with Gruyere cheese
I love Gruyere cheese, but it's so expensive! I need to get some again...

Well, I'm on vacation and I was supposed to go out with a friend for Korean bbq but her toddler is sick so today is leftovers. Tomorrow we're going to my SIL for brunch, eggs with sausage, bagels, fruit and pastries. It's also my birthday tomorrow, so there will prob be cake as well. I don't follow a religion, so it's just a normal weekend for me.

Lamb in the cake...or cake shaped like a lamb? 😲
There are special molds to make a cake in the shape of a lamb.

We were invited to my husband's cousin's house but he had an unplanned tooth extraction and is on a soft food diet. He's also having some pain so we declined. I could go by myself but I felt it was unfair to leave him home alone. Besides I'm not sure they would have any vegetarian options for me.
