I read SO MUCH when I was a kid. I can't remember any favorites from when I was under 10 or 12, except "all of them!" :lol3:
When I was a teenager, I made it my goal to read all the Newbery Award winners and runners-up. I think I managed to find most of them. I like Mrs Frisby and the Rats of NIMH and The Giver best. I also like Kate Seredy books; I think my favorite of them is The Chestry Oak (it's not a Newbery book, but one of her other books won, which made me look for more books written by her. . .etc.).
