Gooooooood Morning TCS! (Sorry, I just watched Good Morning Vietnam yesterday
)
Today's question is about your computer. I bought a new graphics card for my computer yesterday and I can't wait to get it. So....
What video/graphics card do your computer have?
If you're not sure, check your system information.
For Mac users, click on Apple, then About this Mac, then More Info, then Graphics/Displays.
For Windows, click on Start, then Accessories, then System Tools, then System Information, then under the components section, click on Display. Your card is the Adapter Description.
And for the odd Lynux user, open a terminal and type lspci. I think that brings up the system info.
As for my, in my Mac I have an ATI Radeon HD 3870. And in my PC, I currently have a Radeon X1650 Pro and I am upgrading to a Radeon HD 5850. Using a single core, it's almost 5 times faster than the X1650. I was going to get the HD 5970 (world's fastest graphics card) but it was just a bit out of my price range.
