One of the weirdest things about being an adult is having a favorite stove top burner. No one ever talks about it, but y'all know it's true.


It is true. My favorite is front left. What's yours?

Front right. it's the one that can do small or large pans. My front left doesn't heat the same. It takes longer to boil water and everything.

I wonder if it has to do with being right or left handed?

Front right. Front left burns a large area only, the back burners burn a small area only, but the front right has the option to switch out between the two.

While I’d probably use that one naturally anyway because I’m right-handed, the counter to the left of the left front burner has the phone and some other stuff on it. Plus the right side cabinets have the spices, extracts, etc.

Front right. I like this burner so much that having the right size in that spot was a requirement when I stove shopped a few years ago. I don’t think it has anything to do with left or right handed because I am a lefty.

Tbh I don’t remember! It’s two houses since we had a gas stove (witless landlord changed our gas for electric, not our idea) and I don’t even remember what the stove at our last house looked like. I’m in S silent ’s camp now, it’s microwave only in this unit!

It’s the thing you turn on once a week to make cinnamon French toast. Other than that, it works hard to collect dust.

I try to use all of them. I am a bit of an OCD person, so each time I use a different burner to "balance".
