Chewing gum! Especially people who sort of chomp on the gum and snap it. I absolutely cringe every time I hear that!
I agree with that. There is this gentleman that I see in the stores occasionally and he makes me cringe when I do. Constant, tuneless, piercing whistling. I always try to go to the other end of the store, but all of them are so small, I can still hear him. Both the LOUD yawns and the LOUD sighs get to both me and Larry. When people yawn loudly and with their mouth open I can't help but scowl and cover my nose and mouth for fear of germs.Larry used to have to take the train to and from work and complained constantly about loud yawners. Still, I will take that over whistling on any day, that is, IF I had to prioritize my pet peeves.
Of course that is CUTE!!!!!!!!!!! Our list does not pertain to our furkids. This drives me crazy! However, when the kitties are slurping up Weruva I think they're adorable :bigwink: .
I've been away for a week thank you Feralvr for posting such a great question )... but I had to reply as this is something I, too, really can't stand. How interested that it rated so highly in the TCS annoyance stakes. I don't feel alone nowMouth noises. Like chewing, crunching, etc. My husband knows my "look" when he is eating too noisily! Poor him!
:lol3: Last night I was stopped at Panera Bread to get my much loved bread soup bowl for dinner. I had to move to another table. I sat near a man who was eating up his chips. CHOMP CHOMP CHOMP... all with an open mouth. I had to laugh (after I scowled a bit ), it made me think of everyone else on TCS who has the same annoyance. Why don't people realize that is SO RUDE!!!I've been away for a week thank you Feralvr for posting such a great question )... but I had to reply as this is something I, too, really can't stand.
