Hello.
We we're snowed in this week. We had two days of heavy snow and it got to about mid-thigh level, so no going outside for me for a couple of days. It happens every year, so I was well prepared.
If you had all the essentials, food, fuel, and everything your cats needed, what else would you make sure you had to survive being snowed in?
I like to take a hot bath after a hard morning shoveling snow, so some nice smelling bath salts are top of my list.
Lots of cardboard boxes are very handy too. There are always wet boots that need to be left on cardboard by a heater to dry out. Plus a couple of sheets of cardboard just in front of the cat door save me many hours of mopping up muddy paw prints.
I always make sure I have plenty of spicy chai mix and honey. Hot sweet chai is my favourite drink at this time of year.
Some snow pixs for you. Feel free to share some pictures of your lovely snow, if you have any.
