Good morning.

:wave3:

When you were in school were you in any club or on any team? Or were you in the Going Home Early Club?

I was never very good at competitive sports, so I never bothered trying to get picked for a team. I used to be in the Pottery Club, which was me, the two other girls who were doing Ceramics at O and A level and their younger brothers. I think the younger brothers were only there because their parents wouldn't pick them up from school at 4 and then come back for the older sisters later.

Not the most popular club in school, but I had fun.

How about you, did your school have clubs and teams?

High school was 35 years ago, but I do remember that I was not in any school clubs.
I was on a softball team in 7th grade though.

I was the outsider egghead nerd, so I didn't fit in most clubs, which tended to be cliques. I was president of the science club, which was made up of the few others like me. Most of us were on the debate team, which we all took as a class. Popularity wasn't part of my life.

I was on a softball team in eight grade. My gym teacher said that I played like a pro. I was a tomboy and I always played sports with the boys around the neighborhood. I was watching a woman's softball game the other day and boy could they play. I would not last one inning playing with them.

i was definitely in the 'going home early' club. i really didn't care for school at all. i enjoyed the learning part, as long as there was a good teacher. the social part just wasn't my 'thing'.

I was on the rifle team, did make-up for school plays, tutored underprivileged children from a city school, and managed the boys' cross country team, so was involved in extracurricular activities to some extent.

I played flute in the 4th and 5th grade band (very badly I'd like to add), I was in chorus in elementary school and middle school. I played varsity field hockey in high school. No clubs though. Do these count?

I was part of the high school Improv Team!

Also in theater as an actress *Dramatic pose*

Additionally, was briefly part of the Amnesty International group in school.

Otherwise the rest of the activities weren't connected with my school, as I also played regional soccer, danced and did equestrian.

I hated high school so really desired straying away from it when possible.

The only thing I really remember being involved in was German Club. That was it. At home, I had to take piano lessons, so a lot of my time was devoted to practice.

Nope. I wasn't a joiner. Despite my mom constantly pushing me, I never was the social butterfly she wanted.
