Marie is a very common middle name. It goes well with a lot of first names. I like my middle name Christopher, because it goes well with my first name and both of them were named after my uncles

I was named after two aunts.
One had passed away, so I legally changed my first name.
The other is still living, so I guess I'll keep my middle name (for now).

Just curious - both of you from the UK don't have middle names. Is it common to NOT have a middle name?

Mine is "Paige" I like it alot and it goes VERY well with my first name...

Yes, I do - it's a variation of my Dad's (and paternal grandfather's) middle name.

My gg-granpa B and all of his siblings had their mother's maiden name as their middle name. All nine of them!

I like my name. It's a common name that's the only problem with it. Marie. I was named after my granny and I love her so that's another reason I like.

Supposedly, my Mum fought my father over it in the hospital when I was born.. he wanted it to be my first name! Thanks, Mum! Whew! I lived in terror all thru school of someone finding out my middle name. If that would have been my first name, I would probably be in a mental hospital, or prison.
