I met him 3 days before my 11th birthday. He was 5 years older than me.
But as I got older, it became way more than a crush. There was just SOMETHING between us that I can never really explain. He is married now, and lives 2000 miles away. I last saw him in 2005. There is still an amazing connection between us that I have never had with anyone else. I truly believe that he is my soul mate, or that we were in a past life together if that kind of thing is possible.... even though we weren't meant to be together in this lifetime.
I have a great guy, and I'm very happy with my life. But of course, my first crush will always hold a special place in my life.
When I was a little girl i had a little "boyfriend" in kindergarden (it was all really innocent). We held hands at recess and i think it lasted for a day or two
He broke up with me by telling me he was an alien
(a few yrs later he went to another school with me- and we had the biggest laugh about it!)
My first "real" crush though was on a sweet boy named Luke in the 5th grade. I remember thinking he was soooo cute!
All the little girls at church had the biggest crush on him
He was my little "middle school" boyfriend for a few months- and we would hang out at church at our youth group meetings/etc (once again totally innocent and cute!). We still stay in touch nowdays.
He recently got engaged to a really sweet girl and they are doing wonderful! I am really happy for them!
Well, my mom says that when I was 2 or 3, I liked the crooner Pat Boone, and whenever he came on TV, I would clap my hands and say, "Pat Boom! Pat Boom!"
I assure you, any attraction I may have felt to the stultifyingly bland Pat Boone has long since withered.
But in fourth grade, there was a boy named Scott Busse... tall, slim, dark, and terribly serious. A brooder. Don't all girls love the broody, mysterious type?
I think I was around 9. His name was Matt and he was a couple years older. He lived down the street from me and I used to hang out with him all the time. I ended up asking him to go to the fair with me and I thought that was such a big thing when he said yes.
I had a terrible crush on Al Johnson in the 5th grade. He was my very first kiss the summer between 6th and 7th grade, and my first "boyfriend" in junior high. I saw him at my 25th class reunion, 5 years ago. He's still the same sweet guy, even after all this time.
Grade 4 before i moved to another primary school for 5&6, a boy named Andrew. His family was scottish and he was so cute, big dimples and bright blue eyes. We never kissed or really talked (i was only 9 after all lol) but we did play doctors and nurses alot lol
and i also threw a few tantrums when other kids would pick on me and call me his girlfriend. His friends always picked on him for wanting to spend time with me rather than play with them. I bumped in to him i think about 4 or 5 years later when the school had a birthday/fete thing, but he didn't remember me. Haven't seen him in about 10 years.
