I make a list far in advance....like when I book the trip.

That way I make sure of exactly what I have and what i may need to purchase before the trip. Than a week before i go through and usually edit my list. I then pack what I can, make sure clothes that need to be laundered are taken care of and the night before I pack those items and everything but my last minute toiletries.

That's how I do it too

Though I don't go away anymore.

i used to mind then when i started working in the pub i started wearing my nice clothes so ive hidden them from myself made my brother keep my bag in his room and he wont let me have my nice clothes
